Abstract

This article offers a North American perspective on Pentecostal theology, surveying major theological contributions, debates, and trajectories within the Pentecostal movement. Yong engages with questions of theological method, pneumatology, and global Pentecostalism, situating North American Pentecostal theology within broader ecumenical and academic contexts.

Roger Oliveira de Mattos

Roger Oliveira de Mattos is from São Mateus, Espírito Santo, Brazil, and currently lives in Vila Velha. At 38, he studies Theology at Faculdade Refidim, with the purpose of deepening his knowledge of the Scriptures and teaching the Word of God, with emphasis on classical Pentecostal tradition. In addition to his theological vocation, he is a musician and drummer.
