Abstract
Archer proposes a community narrative hermeneutic for Pentecostal biblical interpretation, arguing that the Pentecostal story functions as a hermeneutical filter that shapes how Pentecostals read, understand, and apply Scripture. Drawing on narrative theology and community-based models of interpretation, the article challenges both rationalist and experiential-expressivist approaches to hermeneutics, advocating for a communal-narrative method grounded in the Pentecostal community’s ongoing experience of the Spirit.
