Abstract
This article examines the emergence of Methodism in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, during the years 1820–1830, and interrogates the historical narratives surrounding this evangelical awakening. Bundy revisits primary sources to assess the extent of Methodist influence in shaping the religious landscape of this French-speaking Reformed canton, questioning whether Methodists deserve exclusive credit for the revival movements of this period.
